Admin reply: I'm suffering pretty badly from stress, anxiety & insomnia related depression. If I was in a position to do so I would probably crawl under a rock for a few weeks/months & get my health/life back in-order... but for the time being I have little choice by to concentrate on my business.

The biggest single factor in my downward spiral has been this saga with Robert Shilimon; though I recognise that my own hasty choices led to where we are now;- guilty of being far too willing to put my trust in others.

During life I find I have things that happen that seem as though they are "meant to be" (I'm not religious, or spiritual, or superstitious)... I think it is something we all experience from time to time; finding the right house, being offered the right job, simply being in the right place at the right time, those sorts of things.

I had been battling with long-term mild depression, and made the decision to chase one of my life long dreams; competing in circuit racing.

I already knew exactly what make/model of car I wanted to compete in: an early-model RX7; and as soon as I started looking this "race prepared" RX7 was there, in my price range, and "ready to go"; at the time I mistook this random occurrence for one of life's "meant to be" moments, and subsequent decisions were made without nearly-enough careful consideration.

The rest is history.

For a decision that was meant to improve my outlook on life, to turn out so badly; and then to be followed-up by threats, harassment, extortion, etc. All of this severely worsened the stress, anxiety, insomnia and depression which, as it turns out, has been relatively mild up to this point.

FYI: Mental health issues are ridiculous, recognizing the problem, knowing the causes and triggers, and being able to do so little about it...

So, do I want MY money back? Of course I do.
Do I want costs? Absolutely… and compensation.
Can Rob justify keeping any of MY money? Of course he cannot.

FYI: The info I didn't want to print because Rob would carry on like the (forgive the language) imbecilic fucktard he has proven himself to be:

The NSW dept. of fair trading did a HUGE back-flip on me... First off they recognized that I had a case; a case worker agreed that Rob was clearly a trader because of the eBay business he was carrying on, and the types of goods he was advertising for sale; subsequently I was sent all the forms I needed to submit it to the Consumer, Trader & Tenancy Tribunal (CTTT) aka Small Claims.

Then, suddenly out of the blue I received an official signed/PDF'd letter from the deputy director of operations, saying that (paraphrasing) 'as mr shilimon does not operate a business, the dept. of fair trading/CTTT cannot hear my case'!?!... it went on to suggest that I pursue it via a civil litigation.

I wrote back a rather displeased email, and expected to never hear anything back... only to get a second letter laying out their position in black & white. Rob has never registered a business, not sold a single car in 9 years(!?) And the automotive parts he sells via his online store are not "prescribed parts" or some such garbage... They even went to the trouble of telling me he does NOT live at 21 S_______ Street; where there are some 20+ cars parked in every square inch of yard. (I will note at this point that: It seems more and more as though Rob is the clown that the Shilimon family hide their shonky trading behind; but cannot claim this as fact, as [at this point], I have little to substantiate it.)

Interestingly; Rob Shilimon recently brought a case before Small Claims claiming that he IS a Trader; Rob was dragging another of his victims through the court, not happy to have ripped them off once already, only to have the transaction reversed by PayPal. (Thankfully Rob lost that case). I have passed on information about this case to a reporter for NineMSN, there are many aspects to the case & a human side to the story; I am hoping he will do it justice.

So where are we now?
I simply don’t have the funds to pursue this any further via a civil litigation; I've already shelled out more than I can afford to a solicitor who has, as far as I am aware, to this day not been able to achieve anything positive; please do not take this as a critisism of the solicitor, (he is a guy I trust and respect, as he was once my school teacher, and was already an intelligent guy; and then he worked hard to make the law his profession.)

It is the law itself that has let me down; laws have been written to protect me (and all Australians) from shonky traders like Robert Shilimon, and from his actions following the shonky transaction; but when NO-ONE AT ALL will stand-up and enforce these laws it leaves me simply as the victim; and Rob, and sadly others like him, with his pockets stuffed with my money, free to rip-off, threaten, menace and harass hard-working Australians. Meanwhile HUGE legal cases with national media get made of some random guy calling girls sluts on FaceBook; disparity anyone?

So I'm done with it.

The site will remain for many years to come, to serve as a reminder/warning regarding the shonky dealings of Robert Shilimon, and his subsequent demeanour, behaviour and attitude; feel free to reference the site if you ever end up in a courtroom facing off against Rob, the Shilimon family, or any of their business holdings; for example Western Car Care Group P/L. (public information)

Thanks to the people who donated, for the time-being it is intended that this will go towards domain renewals and hosting costs; if I am ever in a position to pay each of you back I certainly will.

Thanks to the TENS OF THOUSANDS! of people who visited the site; that has simply blown me away. Thanks to the HUNDREDS of people who Emailed/Called or left positive/supportive messages in the Guestbook; each of these individual messages made for a brief positive thought.

Amazing how all the bullshit in this case comes from one small area...

Desperate? No, not really. Pissed that I allowed myself to be ripped off for thousands of dollars by a pathetic half-witted scumbag? absolutely.

Fear not, Rob and his family will continue to be reminded of the facts long after it has become a distant memory for me. The website is not going anywhere, nor are the Google search results for "Robert Shilimon".
